2002 Season Preview

On a more general note I am expecting good things this year. Last year was a year of consolidation, following the upheaval of being a wandering side, for what seemed like forever, getting used to a newly laid pitch and promotion two years running. This year we have a new 1st team skipper, Dave Evans, so new perhaps a new direction and also I believe some new players to strengthen the ranks. So I think our goal has to be promotion on Saturday and to build on the success of Habib's Sunday 1st team, with another good cup run - and let's do it in the Western Union Cricket Trophy (click here for details), as I've always wanted to play at Headingly!
