Cricket Tour -Bournemouth Summer 2002

  After a two-year absence, Cricket Tour is back!

 I have booked the Grosvenor Court Hotel in Bournemouth.

 A quick word on the location, Bournemouth is only an hour an a half away, which means that it’s not too far if you only wanted to come down for a day or two and Bournemouth itself has something to offer for both the tourist who would like to bring his family and the single party animal!

 The Grosvenor Court Hotel facilities include bar, restaurant, swimming pool, sauna, gym and karaoke! The hotel is 2 minutes from the shops and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

 The week of the tour will be Sun 28th July to Sat 3rd August 2002 and you can stay 1 to 6 nights

 The cost will be £33 per night per adult, 1/2 price for U14's sharing with parents and free for babies. (I would expect to get a reduced rate for 15 or 16 year olds sharing with parents, of about £25 per night)

 If there are enough tourists (16+cricketers? any suggestions?), then I plan to have matches on Sun, Mon, Wed and Thurs, if not then I will reduce to 3 matches.

 If you are interested, can you let me know as soon as possible what nights you would like to stay and how many adults/children/babies?

 Also I need to take a deposit over the next couple of weeks, so that the fixtures can be arranged and so that I can pay the hotel (I have to pay this early Feb).

 Deposit of £5 per person per night (but £25 for either 5 or 6 nights).

 One more thing, this year’s tour is different, we don't have 'Babbacomb Steve' letting us pay the balance when we leave Saturday morning, I have to pay the remainder of the money by the middle of June! So I will need the balance at the beginning of June.
