Dave Blacktopp becomes the highest run scorer in our club's history, during the 2001 Season.

In the 2001 Season Dave Blacktopp became the highest run scorer in our club's history, by taking his run total to 14871. Also Dave is now the most successful batting all rounder in the clubs history, with 573 wickets to add to all those runs, 7th in the all time list. Statistically, he is 2nd only, in the best all rounder list, to Peter Freer (just have a look at Peter's stats).

Actually, it has been quite an achievement for Dave to overcome Micky Heathfield's mammoth run total, as he has been battling a serious knee injury over the last 3 years, which restricted him to 9 games this year and none last year.
