What is the 2003 Holtwhites Trinibis Fantasy
Cricket Game?
The basic rules of the 2003 Holtwhites Trinibis
Fantasy Cricket Game are simple. All you need to do is pick a team
of 11 players who will score points for you based on the amount of runs they
score, wickets they take (less a deduction for runs conceded) and stumpings and
catches they manage.
Duration of Game and Games Covered
The Game runs from the 19/4/03 until 6/9/03 and
points will be scored from any game that would ordinarily be encompassed in the
season’s averages.
How do I pick a team?
Entering a team only takes a few minutes. Select a
team of 11 players from the published Player List
for the Game. Each player is listed in a specific Category and given an HTFC
Player Rating. Your selected squad must conform to the following format:
5 Batsmen
1 Wicketkeeper
1 All-Rounder
4 Bowlers
The total Player Ratings of your 11-man team must not exceed 75 points.
Player List
Only players included on the Fantasy Cricket 2003 Player List
are eligible for selection for the Game.
Player Ratings and Categories
Taff has sole and absolute discretion over the
Player Rating awarded to each player, which is of course highly subjective. Taff
also has sole and absolute discretion over the choice of Category in which any
particular player is placed.
How do my players score points?
The Points Scoring System for the Game is as
follows:
BATTING (per completed innings whether dismissed
or not):
Every 5 runs +1 point
Innings Bonus
50-99 runs +5 points
100-149 runs +10 points
150-199 runs +20 points
200 + runs +30 points
FIELDING (per match):
Per catch +2 points (fielders and wicketkeepers)
Per stumping +4 points (wicketkeepers only)
Innings Bonus
5 catches and/or stumpings +5 points (wicketkeepers only)
BOWLING (per completed innings)
Each wicket +6 points
Every 25 runs conceded -2 points
Innings Bonus
5 wickets +5 points
6 wickets +10 points
7 wickets +15 points
8 wickets +20 points
9 wickets +25 points
10 wickets +30 points
Hat-trick +30 points
Entry Deadline
Complete and submit the Fantasy Cricket form
before the closing entry deadline to be eligible for Prizes is 19th
April 2003. - First Game 21/4/03
Transfers
You may make a total of 5 transfers
during the period of the Game. All transfers must be made to Taff, prior to
17:00 on the day prior to the commencement of play. There is no limit to the
number of transfers, which can be made at any one time.
All rejoining/new members that are
not on the player list will be added during the season once subs are paid. Look
out for bargains when transferring!
Entry Fee and Prizes
The Entry Fee is £5.00 per team or
£10 for 3 teams! There is no limit on the number of teams, which can be entered
by any one person.
The following cash prizes will be
awarded:
Season Prize Winner £TBA (70% of prize fund)
Season Prize Runner-up £TBA (20% of prize fund)
Season Prize Third Place £TBA (10%
of prize fund)
Monthly Prize Winner £ TBA (dependant on monies received)
Monthly Prize Runner-Up £ TBA (dependant on monies received)
Monthly Prizes will be announced on
the Holtwhites Trinibis website on the first
Monday following the first weekend of every month.
In the event of a tie for any of the
prizes, the prize will be awarded to the entrant whose team scored the total
number of actual runs (as opposed to fantasy batting points) during the Game. If
still tied, the relevant prize will be shared between the tied entrants.
