News Weekend 23rd - 24th April 2005

Hi All

Great start to the season for the club, 2 wins, a draw and not a sighting of the
forecast rain!

New Players
We had 4 new players start games for the club this weekend. Shahid Khan(Sharky)
took two wickets with a very tidy spell on Saturday and on Sunday, Anuj Saus
claimed his first club wicket for the 1st team bowling some rapid left arm seam
up - In the second team a couple of youngsters did well, another left arm
seamer, Tom Winfield took his first wicket, and Tom Gibbs scored 30 plus runs
on his debut. With another 3 new players likely to start next week, the future
is becoming brighter!

Umpires
TV Sr has volunteered to umpire for the first league Saturday and will save the
club 5pts! If anyone can helpout for the following games, please let me know.

Club AGM
Don't forget this is tonight (Monday) at 8pm.

Summer Tour
I'm looking for deposits from anyone who is interested, as soon as possible

And finally, a quick reminder to those of you who haven't given your
availability for the coming weekend, please could you let me know by email
