Bournemouth Tour 2002 - Photo's
Part 1

Here are the the first set of pictures from this
years tour (more to follow)

Oh dear, the first fine of tour - Barry's car
breaks down on the M25/M3 slip road - We were there an hour and a
half in all -waiting for the AA to arrive, waiting whilst the
mechanic looked at the car and then rearranging the luggage in
Stuart's and my car's so that Barry could fit into mine - Barry's
car was towed back to Palmers Green.
Highcliffe CC vs HTCC
This picture needs no explanation

The team that played Highcliffe in the first
game, plus spectators - The observant amongst you, may notice our
lady wicket keeper - Bev played in NZ a few years ago and was our
guest player for the day. (Match Report Highcliffe attempt the Apple Cake Gambit)

Three Chiefs, one Indian.
Lymington CC vs HTCC

The boys severely deplete Lymington's beer stock
(we drank them out of VB, bottled stella and buds)

Sue Evans asks for a bud - She is out of luck -
but we managed to find a cup of tea!
Unfortunately my camera lens got smudged at this
point and the remainder of the photo's were blurred. Here are the
ones that I've been able to enhance to some degree.

Stuart's knock comes to an end

Pure Bollywood!

Neale 'Donkeydoos' Dookerhan walks back to the
pavillion after his triumphant innings comes to an end - Neale and
Kelly drove down for the day - Neale ended the day with 15 runs
(doesn't sound a lot, but he hit some crashing boundaries, the
like we have not seen from Neale before and 5 for 81 (bagging both
Aussies)
Parley CC vs HTCC

Young Rowan Akers showing his footie skills.

A calm scene, which doesn't portray the panic in
the changing room, as wickets tumble

Brewer's Hero's - Sometimes you can be a hero in
defeat - Especially when you have to go a whole game without tea!
